Houssain Siadat, General Manager
Houssain Siadat is one of the longest serving members of the Mohebi Group’s management team. His association with BME spans over three decades, having joined as the Sales & Operations Manager in 1983 and progressively moving forward to being appointed as the General Manager in 1990.
Under Houssain’s astute leadership BME has become one of the leading sales, marketing and distribution organizations in the UAE as well as becoming a major player in Oman and Qatar. Throughout all these territories, BME has established a unique reputation for excellence in many fields – from FMCG to HORECA, from finance to logistics. Houssain gained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration at Nevada State University in United States in 1976. His career commenced in the UK in 1978 with Danchelesco International Company, Hawker Siddeley’s exporting arm of Heavy Industrial, Electrical and Mechanical Equipment for the Gulf region.
His proven abilities got him transferred to Dubai to market a greater portfolio of industrial brands across the GCC countries for almost four years. The bold step of moving to the FMCG sector had proved the milestone in his professional career.
Mukesh Dhoundiyal, Head of Consumer Division
Mukesh Dhoundiyal brings with him over 20 years of experience in marketing and business strategies applied to consumer durables, office automation, services and the FMCG industry.
Throughout his career, Mukesh has gained a reputation for his innovation, dynamism and success in stimulating people to achieve ambitious business goals. At BME, he is responsible for sales and distribution, marketing, strategic expansion and new business ventures for all the company’s consumer goods businesses in the GCC. He played the lead role in initiating and establishing BME’s geographical expansion in Oman and Qatar.
Prior to joining BME, he spent several years in marketing and strategic planning roles in India and GCC markets which, together with his academic training, have given him unique insights in building the consumer business at BME. A Doctoral scholar, Mukesh holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from XLRI, Jamshedpur in India.
As the Head of Tobacco Division, Fares Nasr brings 23 years of in-depth experience working with Habanos S.A.
Fares’s responsibilities cover all BME’s territories within the region and includes all domestic, duty free and retail outlets.
He also manages BME’s retail store chain of La Casa Del Habano and Le Tabac Exclusivo, comprising numerous stores across the region. Prior to joining BME, Fares was a board member and Commercial Director of Phoenicia Cyprus, the exclusive distributor of Habanos for the Middle East, Africa and other European countries.
Fares holds a Degree in Gestion Comptabilité – Finance (France), an MBA (USA) and a Ph.D. en Gestion d’Entreprise (France). He is a member of the Syndicate of Chartered Accountants of Lebanon.
Anil Jain, Head of Finance & HR
Anil Jain is a highly experienced professional with in-depth skills in financial and operational controls, Treasury, reporting, planning, due diligence and investment appraisal. His career spans 16 years in India and Middle East from manufacturing to retail.
His key responsibility at BME includes partnering business decisions, strategy, execution, working capital and profitability improvements. In addition to his financial role he is also in charge of HR, Logistics, IT and Administration. Anil holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
